Ester-C & flavonoids offers a blend of ChelaMax® vitamin C and flavonoid compounds to provide vitamin C support for healthy immune and cellular function as well as blood vessel integrity. ChelaMax® offers scientifically-formulated, rigorously tested, and fully-chelated calcium ascorbate. The process of chelation wraps this non-acidic water-soluble nutrient in a protective shell to enhance bioavailability. A unique three step quality assurance and verification process ensures full chelation, purity, and efficacy. This process includes X-Ray diffraction (XRD) to confirm the actual structure of the compound, Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy that creates a unique fingerprint specific to this material, and Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) to confirm purity. The bioflavonoids quercetin and rutin are free radical scavengers that complement the roles of vitamin C. Quercetin helps maintain healthy mast cell function and moderate healthy leukotriene and prostaglandin metabolism. Rutin provides important support for blood vessel integrity and healthy cell function.
