Description
Gly-Control is a unique botanical supplement designed by Mitchell Fleisher, MD to provide nutritional support for healthy blood sugar levels and to support a healthy pancreas. Gly-Control utilizes the following: Gymnema sylvestre is an Ayurvedic herb native to tropical forests in India and Africa and has been used in India as a medicinal herb for over 2,000 years. The active constituents are gymnemic acids. Preliminary research suggests that Gymnema sylvestre supports healthy pancreatic cell function, where insulin is produced, and supports healthy glucose uptake into the intestines. Gymnema may also support lipid and triglyceride metabolism. Goat’s Rue, or Galega officinalis, is a plant native to the Middle East, but has been cultivated in Europe and western Asia. Goat’s Rue has been used since the middle ages for support of healthy blood sugar levels, supporting a healthy insulin response, and supporting the activity of the adrenals and pancreas. Bitter Melon, or Momordica chantaria, is a vine grown in Asia and Africa for its edible fruit. The fruit of the vine has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for many years to support various stomach and intestinal disorders as well as supporting healthy blood sugar levels and healthy liver function. Cinnamon is a spice derived from the inner bark of several species of trees. In addition to uses as a spice, cinnamon has been used as a medicinal product throughout the world for many years, particularly in supporting healthy blood glucose levels.
