Description
CoQ10 Ubiquinol from Progressive Labs is a softgel that contains 100 mg per softgel of the active form of CoQ10 – ubiquinol. Ubiquinol is the reduced, active antioxidant form of Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10).
Ubiquinol is the “reduced” form of ubiquinone and the most active antioxidant form of CoQ10, responsible for the powerful benefits associated with the nutrient. The conversion process from ubiquinone to ubiquinol occurs naturally in the body. However, the process becomes less efficient with age. People over 40 and those suffering from conditions related to oxidative stress have difficulty converting it.
