Heartburn is the burning sensation in the chest and throat due to excessive amounts of stomach acid backing up into your esophagus whereas indigestion is pain or discomfort in the stomach associated with difficulty in digesting food. Both these conditions are inconvenient and uncomfortable.
Heartburn Essentials by Pure Encapsulations contains herb extracts, nutrients and proprietary blend of plant enzymes to help reduce heartburn and indigestion. The slippery elm marshmallow and deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) extracts in Heartburn Essentials may soothe the GI tract and support its mucosal lining. Gamma oryzanol, a substance derived from rice bran, works with autonomic nervous system to stimulate and maintain healthy gastric secretions even in times of stress. Turmeric and artichoke work to provide relief from occasional indigestion and gas and heartburn or acid reflux respectively.
