Krill is a tiny, shrimp-like animal.that is found in oceans. Its oil is high in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and they are present in a ratio that is also beneficial for your body. Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are important components of cell membranes and are predecessors to many other substances in the body such as those involved with regulating inflammatory responses. Fatty acids are also important for cardiovascular, cognitive and healthy platelet functions.
