Uro-Pro is a comprehensive combination of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, herbals, and other nutrients, carefully formulated and specifically designed to support the healthy function of the prostate gland during the normal aging of men.
Most people are aware of the prostate but not everyone understands its function in male health. The prostate is responsible for producing a substance that protects and nourishes the sperm upon ejaculation. Now what happens over time is that the prostate can enlarge and since the urethra travels through the middle of the prostate normal urinary function can be interrupted.
Douglas Labs has formulated Uro-Pro with several ingredients that may help decrease the size of an enlarged prostate in addition to supporting general prostate health. For instance this prostate supplement features Saw Palmetto extract. This botanical may act as an alpha-1 blocker which may deter smooth muscle contraction. This may in turn promote a decrease in the size of an enlarged prostate.
Uro-Pro's formulation also features Pumpkin Seed Powder and Pygeum Extract. These botanicals also feature chemicals that may help with an enlarged prostate.
For extra benefit and protection Uro-Pro also features Proanthocyanidins an ingredient that many studies suggests may have antioxidant properties.
