Diindolylmethane is formed in the body from plant substances contained in cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and broccoli. This plant indole has several health benefits. It is believed that these cruciferous vegetables may help to protect the body against pathogenic cells because they contain diindolylmethane (DIM) and a related chemical called indole-3-carbinol.
The glucosinolates in vegetables like broccoli help to support your body in its efforts to cleanse. Calcium-d-glucarate aids cleansing by promoting the cleansing of hormones in your body. N-acetyl-l-cysteine, Silymarin, and alpha lipoic acid help to support your liver in producing phase II enzymes that support overall cleansing.
Diindolylmethane (DIM) serves as phytonutirent and antioxidant. It removes harmful free radicals from the body and may prevent potential cell damage. The Dim Detox formula contains BioResponse DIM, a highly absorbable form of DIM. BioResponse DIM supports healthy levels of key hormones in both men and women. Broccoli Sprout is standardized to contain 400 micrograms of sulforaphane another compound that may relieve mild inflammation.
A variety of other compound like HMRlignan (derived from Norwegian spruce) are also contained in this formula to support cleansing bone health breast health heart health and cognitive functioning. NAC (N-acetyl-l-cysteine) natural milk thistle extract (silymarin) and alpha lipoic acid promote the liver's ability to undergo phase II enzyme activity.
